Y sont enterr\u00e9s 1137 tirailleurs s\u00e9n\u00e9galais qui furent soign\u00e9s dans les h\u00f4pitaux locaux lors de la Grande Guerre. Nous avons travaill\u00e9 avec l&rsquo;AMTS (association fond\u00e9e par l&rsquo;enseignant antibois Gaspard M&rsquo;Baye) qui a cr\u00e9\u00e9 ce lieu de m\u00e9moire en 2008 apr\u00e8s un long travail de recherche aux archives et avec le minist\u00e8re de la D\u00e9fense.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-1650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pedagogie.ac-nice.fr\/histoire-geographie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/77\/2020\/03\/vento1-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"vento1\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Hind KAIBI, Louis DELAFOSSE, Lisa JOIRIS, Bohdana PASTOR: \u00ab\u00a0une sc\u00e8ne in\u00e9gal\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb (titre)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Descriptif: on voit une rang\u00e9e de tombes de tirailleurs s\u00e9n\u00e9galais, soign\u00e9s et morts dans les h\u00f4pitaux mentonais pendant la 1\u00e8re guerre mondiale, au 1er plan. Au 2d plan, on devine derri\u00e8re la balustrade la vieille-ville de Menton (\u00ab\u00a0ici\u00a0\u00bb) et surtout la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e qui pointe vers l&rsquo;Afrique et le Cap Martin (\u00ab\u00a0ailleurs\u00a0\u00bb). On peut voir un autre \u00ab\u00a0ici et ailleurs\u00a0\u00bb avec les \u00e9l\u00e8ves (la jeune g\u00e9n\u00e9ration actuelle) qui repr\u00e9sentent la vie, et les tirailleurs enterr\u00e9s (donc dans l&rsquo;au-del\u00e0) et qui repr\u00e9sentent la mort&#8230; La jeune g\u00e9n\u00e9ration leur rend hommage en travaillant sur leur m\u00e9moire.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-1651\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pedagogie.ac-nice.fr\/histoire-geographie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/77\/2020\/03\/vento2-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"vento2\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shana MIGDAL et Le\u00efna GAROT: \u00ab\u00a0ici, la m\u00e9moire d&rsquo;ailleurs\u00a0\u00bb (titre)<\/li>\n<li>Descriptif: au 1er plan nous voyons les tombes des soldats s\u00e9n\u00e9galais morts pour la France au cours de la 1\u00e8re guerre mondiale. Au milieu, la statue d&rsquo;un tirailleur enterr\u00e9 \u00e0 Menton qui regarde vers la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e et surtout vers l&rsquo;Afrique (le territoire d&rsquo;o\u00f9 il est originaire). A quoi \u00e7a sert de lire ? L\u2019objectif est d\u2019aider les \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e0 aimer lire, \u00e0 parcourir des lectures diff\u00e9rentes et de cette mani\u00e8re \u00e0 choisir leurs lectures. C\u2019est un projet pour guider les \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e0 mieux discerner et \u00e0 mieux comprendre le monde qui les entoure en leur permettant \u00e9galement de d\u00e9couvrir d\u2019autres formes comme la lecture d\u2019images. Nous avons interrog\u00e9 la notion de \u00ab paysage \u00bb dans les deux disciplines et nous avons con\u00e7u une sortie scolaire \u00e0 Menton en d\u00e9but d\u2019ann\u00e9e pour les inviter \u00e0 lire des paysages de la m\u00e9moire de la premi\u00e8re guerre \u00e0 Menton : le cimeti\u00e8re du Trabuquet et les tirailleurs s\u00e9n\u00e9galais, un palace de Menton ayant servi d\u2019h\u00f4pital aux tirailleurs, le monument aux morts de Menton. Les \u00e9l\u00e8ves se sont mis en action pour nous donner \u00e0 voir le cimeti\u00e8re du Trabuquet en r\u00e9alisant leurs photographies du paysage dans le cadre de ce concours de g\u00e9ographie sur \u00ab L\u2019ici et l\u2019ailleurs \u00bb. Il y a eu un choix technique sur l\u2019angle de prise de vue de la photographie. Nous avons voulu donner l\u2019impression d\u2019un \u00ab couloir de la mort \u00bb avec les ombres qui ressemblent \u00e0 des soldats qui marchent dans celui-ci. A travers le croissant de lune, on peut voir le sol en b\u00e9ton du cimeti\u00e8re de guerre et le gazon qui entoure les autres tombes. Au-dessus de la tombe, on voit le ciel et le soleil avec ses rayons qui illuminent la cam\u00e9ra. A travers l\u2019\u00e9toile, on voit une autre tombe de soldat, non pas musulmane mais chr\u00e9tienne, et une partie de l\u2019horizon. En haut de la tombe, on peut voir des escargots. \u00ab C\u2019\u00e9tait si loin dans le temps \u00bb, ce titre exprime la distance dans le temps qui nous s\u00e9pare entre la premi\u00e8re guerre mondiale, une sorte d\u2019ailleurs et maintenant, ici. L\u2019horizon et la tombe en arri\u00e8re-plan expriment aussi une autre distance.<\/li>\n<li>Nous avons fait le choix technique de laisser le soleil taper dans la cam\u00e9ra pour pouvoir voir les rayons de soleil. Nous avons pris une photo proche de la tombe musulmane pour pouvoir voir \u00e0 travers la tombe chr\u00e9tienne et l\u2019horizon.<\/li>\n<li>Dans cette photo, il y a une atmosph\u00e8re tr\u00e8s calme avec le ciel bleu, le soleil au centre, l\u2019horizon de cette belle couleur et la tombe du soldat qui repose dans le monde des morts. Pour nous, ces tombes repr\u00e9sentent le lieu o\u00f9 les corps des soldats, musulmans et chr\u00e9tiens sont Ici, et l\u2019horizon et le ciel repr\u00e9sentent le lieu o\u00f9 leurs \u00e2mes et leurs esprits sont et reposent, Ailleurs. C\u2019est pourquoi les rayons de soleil tapent sur les tombes comme pour montrer que m\u00eame morts, ils restent glorifi\u00e9s. Il y a deux religions dans le m\u00eame cimeti\u00e8re, c\u2019est beau, cela montre que malgr\u00e9 le fait qu\u2019ils ne croient pas aux m\u00eames dieux, qu\u2019ils n\u2019aient pas les m\u00eames croyances, ils ont combattu ensemble jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la mort pour la m\u00eame cause. Nous avons choisi de ne pas concentrer la nettet\u00e9 sur les tombes mais plut\u00f4t sur la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation au premier plan qui prend beaucoup de place et qui est originaire d\u2019ailleurs. Nous devions prendre une photographie repr\u00e9sentant le th\u00e8me \u00ab l\u2019ici et l\u2019ailleurs \u00bb.<\/li>\n<li>Pour prendre cette photographie, nous avons attendu que le drapeau fran\u00e7ais soit au vent, nous avons fait attention \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re du soleil, nous avons refait plusieurs fois la photographie dans diff\u00e9rents angles pour que l\u2019on voit bien les tombes et nous avons fait en sorte que le drapeau et les tombes soient les premi\u00e8res choses que l\u2019on remarque en regardant cette photographie. Le ciel prend aussi beaucoup de place en arri\u00e8re-plan pour faire \u00e9cho \u00e0 la mort car on dit que quand l\u2019on meurt notre \u00e2me monte au ciel. Il y a aussi les ombres des tombes qui sont comme des formes humaines, ces formes qui seraient l\u2019\u00e2me des soldats. Les tombes sont au garde-\u00e0-vous devant le drapeau fran\u00e7ais qui lui est tendu dans le ciel, drapeau qui est un symbole de la R\u00e9publique et de la France, pays que les tirailleurs s\u00e9n\u00e9galais ont servi et pour lequel ils ont donn\u00e9 leur vie. Celui qui touche au mont Olympe et celui qui est aux bas-fonds des enfers.<\/p>\n<p>Mais tout est une question d&rsquo;interpr\u00e9tation :<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>En haut, je touchais les cieux, j&rsquo;admirais, je contemplais.<br \/>J&rsquo;aimais ce paysage&#8230; oh qu&rsquo;il me semblait pur, qu&rsquo;il me semblait&#8230;<br \/>C&rsquo;est ici ou le premier plan parle : oh oui qu&rsquo;il est beau ce paysage il y para\u00eet<br \/>Le b\u00e9ton gris\u00e2tre \u00e0 son tour disait \u00e0 son voisin juste en bas : regarde donc ce paysage si beau<\/p>\n<p>Le second plan r\u00e9pondit agac\u00e9, en h\u00e2te : \u00ab\u00a0je ne vois rien, et je n&rsquo;ai gu\u00e8re de temps. Je ne vois ici que le mouvement, que le pain de demain, laisse-moi d\u00e9crire mon monde : \u00e0 l&rsquo;aube je me l\u00e8ve, je prends ma tasse et je pars travailler. \u00c0 midi, je d\u00e9jeune, ensuite je finis ma journ\u00e9e au coucher.<br \/>D\u00e8s lors, je r\u00eave, diff\u00e9remment de toi. J&rsquo;aspire au jour o\u00f9 je n&rsquo;aurais plus \u00e0 me pr\u00e9occuper de l&rsquo;issue de demain. La beaut\u00e9 que tu d\u00e9cris, ton admiration je ne la comprends pas.
